I’ve begun Over the Garden Wall blanket. In all my years I’ve never seen “ssk.” I wonder if that is a new term for Twisted Perl or some other YO stitch. Your SSK description has me puzzled. Thanks.
ssk = slip, slip, knit
Slip the next 2 stitches, one at a time as if to knit, to the right needle. Insert the left needle into the fronts of these two stitches and knit them together. One stitch is decreased. This decrease slants to the left.
Is “yarn forward” in a set of instructions (for a baby blanket) the same as yarnover? Thank you!
