This casual hoodie is knit in a simple seed stitch with four-row stripes using two colors of Premier® Yarns Flora™. The design is worked flat in pieces (back, two fronts, two sleeves, hood, and two pockets) and then seamed together. The pattern includes instructions for carrying the unused yarn up the side to minimize ends. The hoodie features a relaxed fit, drop shoulders, and patch pockets.

This pattern is mainly knit in Seed st, with color changes. This would suit an Intermediate level knitter.

• US Size 11 (8 mm) needles (or size needed to obtain gauge)

Gauge: 10 sts x 14 rows = 4 inches in Seed Stitch.

Stitch Guide:

• Seed Stitch: (odd number of sts)
  • Row 1: *K1, p1; rep from * to last st, k1.
  • Rep Row 1 for patt.
• Striping Sequence:
  • Rows 1-4: With C1.
  • Rows 5-8: With C2.
  • Rep Rows 1-8 for patt.

Pattern Notes:

• Construction: The hoodie is knit flat in pieces and seamed.
• Color Changes: Colors are changed every 4 rows. Do not cut the yarn; carry the unused color up the side, twisting the yarns on RS rows.
• Seaming: Mattress stitch is used for all seams.

Pattern Pieces:
