Free Knitting Pattern for Lucy the Lamb, an adorable sheep pattern. It’s the perfect project for this time of year, resulting in a soft, huggable friend that measures approximately 30cm (12 inches) tall. This design is primarily knit in two main pieces that are seamed together, with smaller components added to bring the character to life. There’s a bit of shaping involved to create the rounded features, but it’s nothing too complex, and using some of the loop stitches, and adds texture that give it personality.
This pattern is a brilliant next step. Rated as intermediate in skill level, a perfect step after mastering basic skills, because some experience with increasing, decreasing, and seaming is helpful, as that is most of the project. You will need. You’ll need super bulky, wool, and aran weight yarns in a main color, along with smaller amounts of DK yarn in various colors for the details. Also gather your 4.5mm and 5mm knitting needles, a 3mm crochet hook (for an optional embellishment), black beads or safety eyes, and fiberfill stuffing. This one is a toy that will bring smiles for a long time!
