“I designed and made this knitted hamburger toy for my cousin’s two year old daughter, Little E. It has a bun (top and bottom), patty, cheese slice, tomato, and lettuce leaf. Little E enjoys naming the pieces, assembling the burger components, and taking the burger apart again!
Each piece takes a small amount of yarn: about 30 yards ( m) for the bun, 15 yards (9 m) for the patty, 10 yards (6 m) for the tomato, and 5 yards (3 m) each for the lettuce and cheese.”
