Cables ‘n Lace Hat
Description: This slouch-style hat features alternating bands of eyelets and 3 x 3 cable. It is knit on needles slightly larger than is typical for the yarn to allow for more drape and wearability. See the matching Cables ‘n Lace Cowl and Cables ‘n Lace Mitts for the whole ensemble.
Level: Intermediate (knowledge of basic cables and eyelets recommended)
Size: 18″ circumference x 9.5″ high (unstretched)
Materials:
1 skeins of Crystal Palace Allegro Lace (shown in 3001 “Stone Gray”)
Crystal Palace Bamboo Needles: 16″ circulars in US sizes 3 & 5 and 8″ double-points in US size 5 (or size needed for gauge)
Cable needle
Stitch marker (to mark beg of rnd)

Cables ‘n Lace Mitts
Description: These mitts matches the Cables ‘n Lace Hat. The pattern features repeats of alternating columns of 3 x 3 cables and eyelets, with top and bottom ribbing and thumb gusset. The stitch pattern has a wonderful stretch. This pair takes just one skein to make.
Level: Intermediate (knowledge of basic cables and eyelets recommended)
Size: 8″ circumference x 8″ high
Materials:
1 skein of Crystal Palace Allegro DK (shown in color 6074 “Tahiti”)
Crystal Palace Bamboo Needles: 6″ or 8″ double points in US size 6 and 8 (or size needed for gauge)
Cable needle
3 stitch marker (to mark beg of rnd and thumb placement)
Tapestry needle
Gauge: 1 repeat of pattern = 2″ on larger needles
