This sweater is a top-down, seamless, circular yoke design featuring a vibrant, multi-colored stranded colorwork pattern. The body and sleeves are worked in the round, with a broken rib stitch for the cuffs and hem. The colorwork is created by holding one strand of Premier® Yarns Trinket™ (a carry-along yarn with colorful nubs) together with one strand of Premier® Yarns Anti-Pilling Everyday® Worsted in various colors. The yoke shaping is achieved through decreases integrated into the colorwork pattern. The neck is finished with a picked-up broken rib edging.
Skill Level: Intermediate (stranded colorwork, working in the round, increasing, decreasing, reading charts, picking up stitches).

- Stranded Colorwork (following a chart)
Pattern Notes:
- Top-Down, Seamless Construction: The sweater is worked from the neck down in one piece.
- Stranded Colorwork: The defining feature of the design. One strand of Trinket (MC) is held together with one strand of Everyday Worsted (C1-C9) throughout. Two separate balls of Trinket are required for the colorwork section.
- Yoke Shaping: Decreases (k2tog, ssk, p2tog, ssp) are worked within the colorwork pattern to shape the yoke. Body and sleeve decreases are worked at different rates.
- Neck Shaping: The front neck is shaped with bind-offs while continuing the yoke decreases.
- The designer’s profile and a schematic are included.
Pattern Pieces (though worked seamlessly):
- Sleeves
- Body
Finishing:
- Pick up stitches for the neck edging and work in broken rib.
- Sew underarm seams.
- Weave in ends and block lightly.
