This sweater is a unique design utilizing the entrelac technique to create a textured, mosaic-like fabric. Inspired by Bruno Mathsson’s Eva chair, the pattern mimics a wicker pattern. The sweater is worked top-down, beginning with the yoke, which is worked back and forth. The fronts and back are then worked separately down to the armholes before being joined and worked in the round. Sleeves are picked up around the armholes and worked down. The yarn is a luxurious blend of Filcolana Tilia (mohair/silk) and Paia (sequined yarn), held together (four strands total) throughout.
Skill Level: Intermediate (due to the entrelac technique, short rows, picking up stitches, and working from charts).

Pattern Notes:
- Top-Down Construction: The sweater is worked from the neck down.
- Entrelac Technique: This is the defining feature of the pattern. The fabric is created by working individual triangles and squares that interlock. Detailed instructions and charts are provided for each size. It’s crucial to follow the charts carefully.
- Four Strands of Yarn: Two strands of Tilia and one strand of each color of Paia are held together throughout.
- Short Rows: German short rows are used to shape the shoulders.
- Separate Fronts/Back: The left and right fronts are worked separately at first, then joined. The back is also worked separately before joining with the front.
- Sleeves: Stitches are picked up around the armholes and worked in the round, using the entrelac technique. Decreases are made before the ribbed cuff.
- Neckband: Stitches are picked up around the neckline, and a twisted rib neckband is worked in the round, then folded and attached to the inside.
