Free Knitting Stitch Vandyke Check.
The Vandyke Check knitting stitch pattern, despite its somewhat formal-sounding name, is a relatively simple yet visually appealing textured design. It’s characterized by a subtle, repeating squares and diagonals motif created through the interplay of knit and purl stitches. It’s not a complex lace or cable pattern, but rather falls into the category of “easy texture” stitches, suitable even for knitters with moderate experience. The ‘check’ is very much a textured ‘chequered effect’, but, is called check in many knitting instruction booklets and so can be interchanged.
