Diamond Flower Free Lace Knitting Stitch by Knitting Bee.
I love flowers and much as hearts in knitting themes, here is another stitch I came up with featuring a pretty diamond shape with a pattern that looks a bit like a flower.
Abbreviations:
k= knit
p= purl
yo = yarn over
k2tog = knit 2 stitches together
ssk = slip, slip, knit slipped stitches tog. Creates a decrease.

Row 2 and all even rows except Row 14: k1, * p14, k1*
Row 3: *p1, k2, k2tog, k1, yo, k4, yo, k1, ssk, k2, * p1
Row 5: *p1, k1, k2tog, k1, yo, k6, yo, k1, ssk, k1, * p1
Row 7: *p1, k2tog, k1, yo, k8, yo, k1, ssk, * p1
Row 9: *p1, k4, k2tog, yo, k2, yo, ssk, k4, * p1
