Little Bells Ribbing Free Knitting Stitch by Knitting Bee https://www.knitting-bee.com
Welcome everybody to this site! I try to share as much free knowledge of knitting stitches as I can with all of you, it is my pleasure to bring in my first free knitting stitch of 2017! With this stitch I played around with modifying a regular 2×3 rib stitch by adding one round with yarn overs between a centered double decrease (s2kp2) which gives the stitch a lovely bell like pattern while maintaining the elasticity needed for a ribbed stitch!
I used an 8 ply (double knit, dk, worsted weight) yarn in a deep darker shade of red, while to the naked eye it looks great, the red just blows out in images, but hopefully you can still make it out well enough!
A view of what the back of the work for this free knitting stitch looks like!
As always a credit would be appreciated if you use this stitch!
