Ribbed Diagonal Lace Free Knitting Stitch by Knitting Bee.
I love this stitch, it creates a lace diagonal pattern and it is completely ribbed, so stretch would be great to use in tees, tanks, sweaters and dresses. you can use it for scarves because this free knitting stitch also has the added benefit of being reversible!
Abbreviations:
k= knit
p= purl
yo = yarn over
k2tog = knit 2 stitches together
p2tog = purl 2 stitches together
Cast on Multiples of 13
Row 1: (k1, p1) three times, k1, k2tog, p1, k1, p1, yo, k1
Row 2: p1, k1, yo, k1, p1, k1, p2tog, (k1, p1) three times
Row 3: (k1, p1) twice, k1, k2tog, p1, k1, p1, yo, k1, p1, k1
Row 4: (p1, k1) twice, yo, k1, p1, k1, p2tog, (k1, p1) twice
Row 5: k1, p1, k1, k2tog, p1, k1, p1, yo, (k1, p1) twice, k1
Row 6: (p1, k1) three times, yo, k1, p1, k1, p2tog, k1, p1
Row 7: k1, k2tog, p1, k1, p1, yo, (k1, p1) three times, k1
Row 8: (p1, k1) four times, yo, k1, p1, k1, p2tog
Row 9: (k1, p1) six times, k1
